Note

• Benzoylecgonine is the primary metabolite of cocaine. It is formed in the liver by the metabolism of cocaine and subsequently trapped by the hair, its presence in the hair confirms that cacnine was used.

• 6-MAM is rapidly created from heroin in the body, and then is either metabolized into morphine or trapped by the hair, Since 6-MAM is a unique metabolite to heroin, its presence in the hair confirms that heroin was the opioid used. 
   
• In most of the cases, a 7 Panel Test which covers total 19 drugs in the hair is enough to verify any history of drug abuse and such 7 Panel Test is our default routine test service.
